Brother Sun & Sister Moon - Francis of Assisi: A Saint for our World today!
St. Francis lived in unity with God’s creation – seeing all living beings as his brothers & sisters, rejoicing in God’s kin-dom.
In our 2025 Online Meditation Retreat Hazel Bradley gives us as always inspirational insights as we follow St. Francis with her. She will explore why Francis is still so loved, how he responded to God’s call in his life, his joy, his connection to creation, his encounter with those different to him and how he came through a spiritual crisis. With Francis we join in his prayer: Praise and bless my Lord, and give Him thanks, and serve Him with great humility. Amen.
Practical information
This retreat will be offered online and will comprise:
👉 Five inspirational talks of 30 - 40 minutes by Hazel Bradley by video link (sent in advance).
👉 A 20-minute meditation time each day introduced and concluded via online video.
👉 Extra resource sheets to help you prepare your times of meditation and to live the retreat well.
There are two options to follow this online retreat :
1️⃣ OPTION A: 5 days
➡️ We'll recommand one talk for each day of the retreat, from Monday 7th to Friday 11th July .
➡️ If you wish so, you will be paired with a prayer partner during the retreat to be connected with the worldwide community of participants.
2️⃣ OPTION B: up to 5 weeks
➡️ You choose the rythm with which you watch the talks, up to one talk for each week.
➡️ If you wish so, you will be paired with a prayer partner during the retreat to be connected with the worldwide community of participants.

Cost
👉 100€ per participant.

Hazel Bradley has been in L’Arche for over 40 years, starting in Trosly, then in India and now in London, UK. She has held various responsibilities in L’Arche including Zone Coordinator for Asia West Pacific, community leader in Chennai, and International Events Coordinator. She is a now an Ignatian spiritual director who has given a number of retreats for La Ferme. She loves storytelling and planning celebrations.
